Perfectly Positioned to the Twin Cities: Residence Inn By Marriott Roseville

We spent a weekend visiting breweries in the North East part of Minneapolis with Kelly’s sister and her husband. The Residence Inn by Marriott in Roseville, MN provided a perfect “home base” for the weekend. All of the breweries that we wanted to check out are as close as 4 miles from the hotel.  The two-bedroom suite we stayed at during our “brewery weekend” was perfectly comfortable and spacious for 4 adults.

Our suite had a kitchen which included a full-sized oven with cooktop, full-sized refrigerator, and a dishwasher. The bar-level table and chairs provided a great place to grab a snack and play dice. The living room boasted a couch and chair along with a tv visible from the dining area as well as a fireplace. There were two, private bedrooms with their own bathrooms on either side of the common space.

The room provided enough common space and enough privacy for our weekend. We didn’t plan to spend a whole lot of time in the hotel but for the time we were there, we were quite comfortable. It had a very homey feel.

Nice, cozy seating area. Perfect spot for a book and some coffee in the mornings.

Kitchen space was perfect since we brought our own snacks. All 4 of us are WFPB so we’re used to traveling with our own backup snacks. Stacy made 7-layer dip and it was kept perfect in the fridge along with our water that we brought with.  Having a full-sized fridge was also perfect when we ordered 2 pizzas one of the evenings from Pizza Luce. It was a nice change from our usual hotel stays where we have a small dorm-sized refrigerator. The pizza boxes and all our other stuff fit perfectly in the large refrigerator.

Even though the hotel offered a free breakfast, we chose to eat brunch at a restaurant that has been on our list of places to visit. It was amazing. Here is a post about our breakfast.  We highly recommend checking out Tongue In Cheek if you find yourself near St. Paul, MN.
