Where to Find Vegan-Friendly Food in Stillwater, MN
You & Me Cafe
826 4th St. South, Stillwater, MN 55082 menu

This adorable cafe is located in the South Hill neighborhood, just a few blocks from downtown. Street parking is available.
The coffee menu offers alternative milk options (free during our visit).
Vegan options are clearly marked in both breakfast and lunch options.
We suggest the harvest bowl. It was a nice portion and a great way to start the day.
Sara’s Bake Shop
823 4th St. South, Stillwater, MN 55082 website

Directly across the street from You & Me Cafe is the cutest little yellow house where Sara’s Bakeshop lives.
You’ve possibly heard of Sara’s Tipsy Pies, which are famous at the Minnesota State Fair. You can purchase them here year-round!
They have one vegan option, an Irish Apple Hand Pie, which comes frozen. If you request it, they will bake it for you; it takes 20 minutes.
They also had vegan brownies for sale. They were delicious. We brought them back to our hotel and ate them as a treat later.
Mon Petite Cheri
310 S. Main St, Stillwater, MN 55082 website

We stopped here, hoping they offered any vegan baked goods.
They do not. However, the waitress was on top of things and suggested we might like to try the side dish we didn’t even see listed on their menu.
She called it a veggie hash, and it was made of zucchini, carrots, and lentils. It was so good and we appreciated a very healthy start to our day. It was such a pleasant surprise.
Kudos to this same staff member who offered to make our Chai Tea Latte by hand because the mix they use contains dairy. This was just above and beyond excellent service. It was delicious.
The five-star service combined with this adorable vibe made this a really great experience, even though we didn’t get a vegan French bakery item.
They do offer steel-cut oatmeal for breakfast. It’s not marked vegan, so be sure to inquire if you order it. The lunch menu also includes avocado toast, which looks interesting.
Tilted Tiki Tropical Bar & Restaurant
324 S. Main St, Stillwater, MN 55082 menu

Tilted Tiki definitely has a vibe. Come here for food, a fun tropical drink, and live music on the weekends.
Vegan items are clearly marked on the menu, and the menu often rotates its vegan options.
We ordered the Lotus Burger and Pulled Pork Sandwich, which was subbed with Jackfruit. It was really good.
The Wild Hare
218 Main St. North, Stillwater, MN 55082 menu

You can order healing tonics or juices to start, mocktails, and cocktails.
The menu is clearly marked with vegan options in every menu category. The food is delicious.
We love to sit on the patio and people-watch while we eat.
They are also opening a second location in Blaine, MN. It will be nice to have vegan options in the northern metro area.
MN Nice Cream
308 Chestnut St E, Stillwater, MN 55082 menu

During our visit, they had vegan strawberry ice cream. I’m not sure if the flavors rotate. You can choose up to three toppings; the vegan toppings are clearly marked!
They also serve coffee and have oat milk for an upcharge.
River Market Co-Op
221 Main St. N, Stillwater, MN website

This is an excellent co-op where you could grocery shop before you leave town.
We found so many vegan options, including plant-based cheeses, paired with some locally grown seasonal fruit, and you’d have a perfect picnic by the St. Croix River, which we could bring to River Siren Brewery just a few doors down or Lift Bridge Brewery.
They also have a hot bar with a rotating menu. Check it out during your visit for a vegan meal option.
Pro-Tip: They have reserved parking on the back side of the store.
