Autumn Harvest Winery in Chippewa Falls, WI

We took a trip this past week to Chippewa Falls, WI.  It was Kelly’s birthday so we combined work with some fun.

Our first stop was Autumn Harvest Winery in Chippewa Falls. The long and winding road on the drive to the winery was beautiful and the only thing that could have made the drive better would have been the beautiful fall colors.

We visited on a Tuesday so we had the place to ourselves. We did a tasting and really enjoyed the fruity wines made with apples from their own orchard!

For $5 each we were able to sample 5 wines. Here is a link for all their wines. We sampled: Razz McTazz, Fall Folly, Harvest Moon, December Nights and Grampa Mac’s Hard Cider. We enjoyed all of them. A bit on the sweet side if you like that.

[bctt tweet=”The owner of Autumn Harvest Winery poured our tastings and she was very knowledgable and personable. She explained that in addition to using apples from their orchard, they also use other fruits native to the Wisconsin area including Elderberry, Blueberries, and Raspberries. ” username=”diningduster”]

We purchased a bottle of blueberry wine and Grandpa’s Hard Cider and are waiting for the perfect fall night to open it and enjoy at home.

The grounds included a corn maze for kids, covered patio seating near the main building and a wonderful picnic area with multiple tables only a stones throw from the main building.

Super cute winery. A nice drive getting there and the views were vast and pretty!

We recommend stopping if you’re in the area.

Up next for Kelly’s birthday celebration, Leinenkugel’s Brewery.

We'd love to hear from you!
